On October 15, 1993, a Limited Liability Company was founded in the name of PT Pelayaran Citra Armada Nusantara, based on the deed of Notary Suwanto, SH. no. 68, located in Pontianak, and ratified by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia's 

Decree No. C2-11113 HT.01.01.Th.94.

PT Pelayaran Citra Armada Nusantara established by providing wood transportation services in West Kalimantan and then expanded to provide transportation services for crude palm oil (Crude Palm Oil) and its derivative products in a variety of domestic and international shipping areas.

In response to the growing demand for the transportation fleet, management decided to form another company to meet the fleet's ever-increasing need. Thus, in 2003, a sister company was re-established in Pontianak under the name PT Pelayaran Kapuas Armada Nusantara, based on the deed of establishment of a limited liability company no. 117 dated March 28, 2003, drawn up before Notary Eddy Dwi Pribadi, SH., and later ratified by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia No. C-15044 HT.01.

PT Pelayaran Kapuas Armada Nusantara and PT Pelayaran Citra Armada Nusantara expanded their services to include the transportation of oil and gas (fuel oil) such as High Speed Diesel.

PT Pelayaran Kapuas Armada Nusantara opened a branch office in Jakarta in 2009 to facilitate service and direct communication with the company's partners, the majority of whom are based in the Republic of Indonesia's capital city.
